The scheduled aircraft for Turkish Airlines (THY) Mombasa-Istanbul expedition returned to airport, when engine was hit by a bird. According to information received, bird was hit at time of departure to motor of Turkish Airlines, which moved to Ataturk Airport from Mombasa, Kenya and 120 passengers. Captain Pilot, who contacted tower, received necessary permits for landing at Mombasa airport. The plane, which was three hours in air, landed smoothly at airport. The plane was taken to hangar for control. Passenger and flight crew were taken to hotels. Passengers will move from Kenya with anor Turkish airlines, he said.
