He retires because of scandal

Samsung's CEO Kwon Oh-Hyun, the world's leading technology manufacturer, announced he would retire. Oh-Hyun, who served as both a CEO and board member of the company, showed the bribery scandal in the company as a reason for his retirement.

Kwon Oh-hyun, CEO of South Korean technology giant Samsung, announced that he will retire next year by March.

In addition to Samsung Electronics since 2012, Su Kwon Oh-hyun, CEO of Samsung Display, also continues to serve as a member of board of Directors of company. The company's founder's son and Lee Jae-yong are making decision to be found at detention house with bribery charge.

The CEO, who received this retirement decision with a letter from company employees, gave following statements in his letter:

"It was not easy for me to make this decision, but I think company needs to be refreshed with a new spirit, due to accusations and crisis situation."
