The government and PSOE have agreed to hold autonomous elections in Catalonia in January of next year as part of measures of implementation of article 155 of Constitution, as stated by Carmen Calvo, number 4 of PSOE, in program breakfasts of T View. Calvo has responded to a question about veracity of a eldiario.es information that made sure that PP and PSOE had agreed to call for autonomous elections in Catalonia next January, within framework of implementation of article 155 , and Calvo has answered that "Yes," that pact was true.

The Minister has clarified that leader of PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, "It is absolutely clear that this [ application of article 155 of Constitution] is to bring Catalonia to an election." However, Calvo has shown his wish to be Carles Puigdemont, president of Generalitat, who will go ahead and convene elections to avoid activation of an article of fundamental norm that has never been applied in Spain or Germany, of whose Constitution had been transferred this precept to Spanish standard.

"If Mr Puigdemont reconsider, who is still in his hand as president of Generalitat, to call m as ordinary elections for Catalonia would be great," added Calvo during interview.
