The Rubius and Movistar prepare the first anime series of Spain

Rubius already has more than 26 million followers on his YouTube account. His pull between youth audience has animated Movistar to count on him and characters he has created in his own comic for a new series that Telefónica platform will produce in collaboration with Zeppelin TV. The announcement was made by Rubius himself on his YouTube channel while Movistar made it public in preopening of spoiler Fest, his series festival.

Virtual Hero will be title of which will be first anime of history in Spain, twelve chapters of 22 Minutes that will arrive exclusively to Movistar in summer of 2018. To this end, producers are counting on Motion Pictures Studio of Barcelona and Jaruyi study of South Korea to create an animation with a style inspired by anime and based on characters and original idea of Rubius.

Virtual Hero tells adventures of Rubius through worlds of game to free 100 best gamers trapped in a virtual world by Trollmask, vengeful Master of game world, which wants to end all of m. On that journey will not be alone, warrior Sakura, crazy zombie Zombirella, Slimmer ancestral spectrum and artificial intelligence G4t will be his allies in struggle to liberate virtual world of evil plan of Trollmask.

"It's biggest project I've ever done in my life," says Rubius in video in which he communicates to his followers news and that in a few hours takes almost 5 million of reproductions.
