Audi's Mini hatchback model A1 's new enclosure was displayed as camouflage. The car sharing the same platform with Polo, Ibiza and Arona will be released in 2018.

Following introduction of Volkswagen's new Polo model, eyes of Audi's hatchback model were translated into new chassis MK2 A1 series. According to latest leaked photos, German manufacturer is doing a humbling work on model released in 2018.

The new A1 previously leaked photos appeared on test drive for first time at this time.

The new Audi A1, which is somewhat concealed due to its camouflage, has a more upright windscreen design with a reduced front and rear distance when looked at. The car, which shares same infrastructure as VW Polo, Seat Ibiza and seat Arona models, can be said to have a wider interior.

  • The new Audi A1 will be available in 5 doors. When viewed from rear, new A1, which looks like A3, is sure to have extra equipment on demand. Wi-Fi Hotspot, smart phone integration and 12.3 inch TFT Virtual Cockpit panel can be some of se extra equipment.

The new A1, which will include latest version of information Entertainment system MMI, seems to include more luxurious features, such as touch screen in Polo, according to previous model. Audi will launch a smaller urban electric passenger car in 2019.

  • The car is expected to be sold with 6-speed or 7 automatic DSG gearbox engine options. The Audi A1 models will have 3-and 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engine alternatives. According to some sources, a hybrid model is said to be considered.
