Following visa crisis between Turkey and United States, Turkish Airlines (THY) came to a statement. Turkey-US and US-Turkey visa application made some changes in statement, indicating that transfer of passengers from Istanbul to be affected by this change was emphasized.
The description of Turkish Airlines is as follows:
"Some changes have been made to Turkey-US and US-Turkey visa application. This change does not affect our transport passengers in Istanbul. Apart from our transport passengers in Istanbul, Turkey-USA and USA-Turkey will travel between October 9, 2017 and before October 9, 2017-Oct. 31, 2017 for tickets arranged in advance Turkish Airlines and Anadolujet flights registered with United States of America with passport of Turkey, US passport to all passengers with United States, with transaction until 31 October 2017, T.C. passport for passengers, changes in booking Can be performed free of charge.
AdRefund Requests:
No unused tickets will be refunded. Partially used, on tickets where travel is incomplete; The unused flight of ticket will be refunded.
AdExtending ticket time:
The validity of ticket will be extended to date of October 31, 2017 (inclusive), without penalty of any fee. Relevant applications will only be available on Turkish Airlines and Anadolujet flights. For US passport passengers, reservation and itinerary changes will be free of charge.
