In order to determine level of foreign language knowledge by SSPC, fall semester foreign language Knowledge Level detection exam (YDS) was held on 17 September. The results of YDS were announced in Osym's conclusion description system.
Click for Results The YDS is organized twice a year, including spring and Autumn period. The foreign language level is valid for all candidates through 100 full points, scores between 90 – 100 (A) level, points between 80 and 89 (B) level, scores between 70 and 79 (C) level, points between 60 and 69 (D) level, between 50-59 Points (E) are accepted as level.
where is yds score used? The research assistant has opportunity to use results of yds instead of foreign language proficiency examination in selection and assignment procedures. Students who study in last class of undergraduate programs or seniors in previous year can also take this test. Each placement at undergraduate level is required for foreign language points for numerous quotas. In particular, ir license to enter YDS will have an important advantage in terms of mselves. People who have right to receive foreign language compensation from public employees must enter yds to receive this compensation. Those who want to be a PhD student must enter YDS. Associate Professor candidates must enter YDS and receive at least 65 over 100. Those who will apply for doctoral and proficiency study in arts should receive at least 55 over 100 by entering YDS. The YDS results will be available by Higher Education Council in accordance with foreign higher education diplomas equation regulation for graduates of a higher education program abroad.
